Boo Crew Layout

Have you ever had that project that just feels like it was a hard-fought battle to get complete it? Well, this is mine!

I love where it ended, but it was walking up a steep hill both ways to bring it home!

I used this sketch and the Boo Crew Papers from Close to My Heart.

I also used the new SVG file from CTMH and showed how you can do that too!

Here is the process video.

Makers with Heart Ta-dah!

I’m excited to share a new CTMH Maker & YouTube Creators collaboration group Makers with Heart! We have joined our talents together to provide one place to find a variety of projects & ideas all featuring close to my heart products & tools.

To start off this party, we decided to highlight the new paper Smarty Pants from the New Core Catalog.

Easel Card Tutorial

This card is a bonus card I made with all the scraps.

This easel card is so simple. In easy terms that work for ALL card sizes, here you go. For a portrait easel, your base is 4 1/4 x 8 1/2. You fold it in have, then fold one half in half again. The front of your card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and you decorate it like any card front and you attach it to the bottom fold of the front of your folded base.

For the landscape card, your base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Fold it in half, then fold the front in half again. Decorate your card front (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) as you want, then attach the card front to the bottom half of the front of the card.

The only only “trick” is to create some barrier for the card front to rest again when it’s stood up.

Double-page Mixed Media

I did it! I created my first layout with texture paste. I loved it and will be doing that again!

The hexagons & the daisies are from Cricut design space, and I have links to the files below. The hexagons should just work, the daisies use the CTMH Flower Market Cartridge that may be purchased here if you don’t already own it.
